Job Summary

Castalia Systems is seeking an Air Defense Analyst, Jr. in the Quantico, VA area.

Roles and Responsibilities

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Conduct All-Source analysis of foreign air and air defense systems and air forces and operations to include, but not limited to, exercises, tactics, platforms, sensors, strategy and doctrine, weapons and readiness.
• Analyze military air force and potential commercial airline activities and assets to include, but not limited to, commercial airlines, military aircraft, cargo movements, logistical and maintenance, readiness, counternarcotic, elicit trade, command and control (C2), defensive systems, and air base infrastructure.
• Maintain knowledge and proficiency of air platforms and weapon systems in the air domain, including but not limited to: fixed wing aircraft, rotor wing aircraft, unmanned arial vehicles, surface to air missiles, air to air missiles.

Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Or an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree for a total of 7 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Normal office environment.
• During high-tempo operations, maintain situational awareness and relay intelligence in real time.
